Time Freeze is a small hyper-casual action game for Android where your hero can stop time itself. People are in danger, the clock is running, and you get one very handy trick: freeze the moment, think fast, move, and pull off the rescue before time starts again. It was made by developer TAHA EREL, it is completely free, and at 49.8 MB it runs on almost any Android phone from the last decade.
One thing to know up front: Time Freeze is no longer on Google Play. Google removed the listing on 29 April 2026, so if you search the Play Store today you will not find the real game. The listing survives on Uptodown, which still hosts the official package. Our download page explains exactly where to get it and how to spot the fake copies that have started to appear.

How the time-freeze gameplay works
Every level drops you into a scene where something is about to go wrong. A person is in danger and the normal flow of time gives you almost no room to react. That is the whole point of the game: your hero can freeze time, and while everything else stands still, you can still move. So a level becomes a little puzzle. You look at the frozen scene, work out the safe path, move into position, and set up the rescue.
It sounds simple, and the first levels are. Then the scenes get busier. More people to save, tighter timing, and less room for a sloppy route. The game rewards quick reflexes, but honestly it rewards a two-second pause even more. Freezing time is not just a power here, it is your thinking time. Players who rush usually fail a level they could have walked through by stopping, looking, and planning one clean line.
The controls stay light, the way hyper-casual games should be. Short levels, quick restarts, and no heavy menus between you and the next attempt. If you fail, you are back in within seconds, which makes the "one more try" loop very easy to fall into. Our guide to playing Time Freeze goes deeper into level tactics if you want the detailed version.
Tips that actually help
Freeze early, not late. Most failed rescues happen because the player waits until the danger is already moving fast. Stop time while the scene is still calm and you get a much clearer picture of what needs to happen.
Plan the whole route before you move. While time is frozen, trace the path in your head from start to finish, including where you will be standing when time restarts. A rescue that works while frozen can still fail the second the clock starts if you end up in the wrong spot.
Treat failed levels as free information. The game restarts fast, so use that. Each failed run shows you one thing the scene does that you did not expect. Two or three attempts in, most levels feel obvious.
And keep your expectations right: this is a snack-sized game, not a 40-hour adventure. It is at its best in short sessions, a few levels at a time, which is exactly what it was designed for.
How to get Time Freeze now
Because the game left Google Play in April 2026, the safe route today is the surviving store listing on Uptodown. That page hosts the official package, com.PushUP.TimeFreeze, the same package that was on Google Play. The steps are simple: open the listing, check the package name and version match what is listed in the quick facts above, download, and install. Our story on the Google Play removal covers the full background, and the version 1.3 install walkthrough lists every step with the exact requirements.
Watch out for fake Time Freeze APK sites
When a game disappears from Google Play, copycat sites show up fast, and Time Freeze is no exception. You will find pages promising a "Time Freeze MOD APK" with unlimited everything, or downloads that are several times bigger than the real 49.8 MB file. Those are not the game. The real package is com.PushUP.TimeFreeze by TAHA EREL, version 1.3, and it is free, so there is nothing to unlock and no reason to pay anyone or install a modified build. A modded copy can carry anything from aggressive ads to outright malware. Stick to the surviving official listing, check the package name before you install, and delete any file whose size or name looks wrong.
Versions and history
Time Freeze launched on Google Play in March 2023. Version 1.3, released on 6 March 2023 with minor bug fixes, is the final and current build. There have been no updates since, and the developer has not announced a sequel or a relaunch. The Play listing recorded roughly 4,500 installs before Google removed it on 29 April 2026. On Uptodown the game has passed 9,500 downloads, and that listing is now the main home of the official package.
Frequently asked questions
Is Time Freeze still available?
Yes, but not on Google Play. The Play listing was removed on 29 April 2026. The official package is still listed on Uptodown.
Is Time Freeze free?
Yes. The game was free on Google Play and the Uptodown listing is free too. Anyone charging you for it is not selling you the real game.
What Android version do I need?
Android 5.1 or higher, and about 50 MB of free space. That covers the large majority of phones still in use.
Who made Time Freeze?
Developer TAHA EREL. The package name is com.PushUP.TimeFreeze, which is the quickest way to confirm you have the genuine game.
Is there a MOD version?
There is no official mod. Sites offering one are unofficial and risky, and this site does not link to them.
The short version
Time Freeze is a neat little idea done well: a rescue game where stopping time is your main tool, wrapped in short, snappy levels. It left Google Play in 2026, but the game itself is still out there through its surviving Uptodown listing. If you missed it the first time round, it is worth a look, and if you played it back in 2023, it plays exactly the way you remember. Head to the download page for the safe route to it, and if you run into problems with the game, you can share them in the community reports and discussions on this site.
