Time Freeze Was Removed from Google Play: Where to Get It Safely Now
If you have searched Google Play for Time Freeze lately, you will have noticed something odd: the game is not there. Not hidden, not renamed. Gone. Here is what happened, what we know from store records, and where the genuine game can still be found.
The timeline
Time Freeze, the hyper-casual rescue game by developer TAHA EREL, launched on Google Play in March 2023. Its final update, version 1.3 with minor bug fixes, landed on 6 March 2023. The listing then sat quietly for three years, collecting roughly 4,500 installs. It was never a giant game, but it had its players.
On 29 April 2026, the listing was removed from Google Play. Store trackers such as AppBrain recorded the removal, which is how the date is known. Google removes listings for many reasons: developer account issues, policy changes catching up with older apps, unmet target-API requirements, or the developer letting the listing lapse. In this case there has been no public statement from TAHA EREL explaining the removal, and we will not invent one. What is certain is the outcome: searching the Play Store for the real game today gives you nothing, or worse, gives you imitators.
Where the game survives
The official package, com.PushUP.TimeFreeze, is still listed on Uptodown, an established app store that carried the game alongside its Play presence. That listing has passed 9,500 downloads and offers the same build: version 1.3, 49.8 MB, free, Android 5.1 and up. Our download page links to it directly.
Uptodown matters here for one reason: continuity. It is the same package that was on Google Play, from the same developer, not a re-upload by a random account. When a game disappears from its main store, that kind of traceable listing is exactly what you want.
The fake-download problem
A removed game is an opportunity for the worst kind of site. Search for Time Freeze now and you will find pages offering a "Time Freeze MOD APK," promising unlocked content in a game that has nothing locked, or downloads several times the real file size. Some of those files are adware with a game icon glued on. A few are worse.
Protecting yourself is boring and effective. Check the package name: com.PushUP.TimeFreeze. Check the size: about 49.8 MB. Check the price: free, always. If a listing fails any of those checks, close the tab. Our homepage quick facts keep the real numbers in one place for exactly this reason, and the version 1.3 walkthrough shows the install steps from the genuine listing.
Could it come back?
Possibly. Developers do relaunch removed games, sometimes under the same name. But there is no announcement, no new version, and no sign of activity since 2023, so plan around the game as it is: a finished, fun little title whose home is now Uptodown. If the situation changes, we will update this page and the download page to match.
Until then, if someone tells you they found Time Freeze "back on Google Play," be skeptical. Check the developer name and package before you tap install. The imitators are counting on you not to.
